Powered by a stunning ETA 2826 (Not typo, it’s a mint 2826, Not ETA 2824, 2836 or 2826-2).

Beating at 36,000/hour, ETA 2826 is also known as Ulysse Nardin NB11QU. Produced primarily for Ulysee Nardin for its COSC chronometers in 1970s, ETA 2826 is a high quality special High-Beat caliber made by ETA when the whole Swiss watch making industry was smashed hard by the Quartz revolution. A few other Swiss makers sourced this beautiful and extremely fine 2826.

Such premium 2826 is superior to 2824, 2824-2 and the later 2826-1. Finishing and polishing tell the differences.

Exceptional elements:
The Case:
Superb design, casting, cutting and polishing. In this case, you can see all kinds of finishing (brushed, sandblast and mirror). You can notice the cutting and polishing of both sides. Several dimensions on each. Each dimension with its own type of surface finishing.
Built-in crown guard with case body.
10 micron gold-plating stamped on the case (PLAQUE G 10).

Bracelet:
Solid link. Stainless Steel with gold-plating on top surface side only to avoid allergy to skin. Very thoughtful design executed with superb gold-plating and sandblast and brushed finishing.









Movement:
Wow! Sorry, lighting is too dim, you cannot really sense the beauty of such a whirl polishing of this movement from photos. A mint glittering ETA 2826.

Ulysse Nardin used ETA 2826 for its COSC chronometer back in 1975. 100% same finishing and quality in these two Felca. Producation volume for such ETA 2826 was exceptionally low.

Swirl polishing are seen only in high grade movements and most famous Swiss brands nowadays. Never see it in ETA 2824 or 2836.

Unmistakable swirl polishing on both rotor and the main plate for ETA 2826 made in 1970s. Different from ETA 2892 but equally appealing. Far better than ETA 2824 or 2836. Better than its new version: the re-issued ETA 2826-2 from 2004. See the difference:
