It is genuine Gold Filled Top, i.e. machine stamping 18K gold sheet on its surface. This is a thick layer of sold 18K gold, thicker than the thickest possible gold-plating.
This fine gold-filled topping does not fade. The reason why this bracelet still glitters today as new after leaving factory for so many years, unlike gold-plated ones. This was the technique for manufacturing high-end gold bracelet by Swiss manufacturers as well as Seiko. Gold content is unusually high.
